i'll wait for version 2 these downwind only things to hit the market.
personally... if you enjoy to go off taking off downwind....i'd wait for wainman's carrot.
..looks much much....much much more fun than these stringless kites folks are trying to their darnedest to hype up
i see much more freedom of movement...since you dont have to use your hands
..nothing in your face either.
it's the future bra

The carrot... taken to the 2nd degree this could be a joke towards consumers who just like rabbits run to buy the latest gadget without really knowing what it is...

As much as the upwind abilities of those Wings have yet to be proven, even if a few users are blessed enough to have convenient downwinder arrangements to not really care about that, the Carrot is pretty much doomed from the start in terms of upwind ability. Looks cool though !

better upwind angle than the windsurfers in the background.
Still just looks clunky to me, but then again, kite foiling in its racing form never looked attractive to me either. Still doesn't, but it at least has the speed to impress. That just looks slow and relatively cluttered. Even on the wave, the wing looks very on/off, and no real surfing. I mean he's riding along on swell power well enough, but its straight line, straight down wind, no carving.

There is some carving by SKY in the product video on the previous page.
