What a great event! I thought Janek would be the guy to win it since the forecast looked soft for Joshua but too strong for Kevin and I was furious when Janek had the kite screw up and wasn't able to perform on the 8m since his 7m was perfect. I watched him on instagram the last weeks and that guy has no fear and is bloody good.

What happend to Liam had me even more annoyed. F-One just made my list! It was interesting to see him just send it on the dice and I thought, look what he can do on true kiteboarding gear. :naughty:

After watching the KOTA events and the 2017 Megaloop Challenge I wasn't excited about most other riders except Lasse, Kevin, Joshua, Ozy and Ross. It was interesting to see Lasse pick the Vegas after him saying that the Dice is his weapon of choice for anything. Joshua I felt was unlucky since he needs so much wind to perform great and it looked like the wind was "just" 40ish knots there for him at the end. Next time I want to be on the beach since the camera guy can :angryfire:

The wind seemed to get lighter?, enjoyed the show - especially when you know what it is like dealing with 40 knot winds, - changes everything.

Things will change big time when there is finally a comp for goofy footers!
At this level, these guys are strong on either foot... hence Liam, Marc etc doing moves on the inside at the KOTA

For me this megallop comp was very grey, dont like it comparing with Kota 2019. And also seems that there is not big difference between kota and megallop.

true, but marc is the one i want to see at a goofy location, i really do think he will beat everyone, especially with the addition of kickers to use.

The difference is the conditions that the events are held...

The KOTA has a lot more technical moves in, due to lighter wind conditions. The Megaloop won't be held unless the winds are the right speed.
