yeah seeing as how the moses mast has rake and the slighshot mast does not you really want the adapter to be moving the wings aft (like the stringy one) rather than moving the wings forward like the foilmount one. Either way if you get a stringy fuse the problem is solved by moving the mast further forward/moving the wings further back (looks like its also fixed on alu-moses which has mast near front wing). I test rode mine today and with the stringy fuse my feet were way back where the proper footstrap holes are on my board are rather than way forward near the nose (almost off the deck pad) with the 749 fuse. Problem solved. And btw the foil is freakin amazing, I clocked over 28km on it today and top speed around 20kn in pretty crappy wind, am very happy with the stringy fuse and 683s, its a winning combo. So smooth and fast and stable, its high quality kit, makes all the other gear I have tried so far seem like wobbly plastic crap
Nice, I too have upgraded my Moses 633/483/91 with the Stringy fuselage mod and I find it to be a nicer balanced ride. This is on my strapless Kanaha Shapes board.

$290 will get it shipped to anywhere in continental US.
to you tomorrow.

For guys on KS and Moses boards the fuselage allows to avoid drilling new holes in mast pedestal or board.
I designed my board layout to not have this issue. Between custom fuselage and custom board I opted for custom board.

I might be interested. I did send Jim a message to see what he'd charge for a brand new one, though. So I'm going to see what he says. I tried out one of these yesterday though (on a 33" KS board) and I think I'd like the farther back placement of it.

How is not a misdemeanor to ride KS at the Hood River? :)

Well, maybe better question is - how slow manufacturers are to allow a simple shaped board with four M8 holes and a mat to market for $850. KS, just as BRM thrived upon slowness and inability of big boys to foresee/manufacture/sell light kites and pocketboards. And big boys keep announcing/shipping some oversized monsterboards - overly thick, weirdly wide, almost flat, overly long - year after year. Who to blame, right....

Last summer Fred Hope was riding around on the Dwarfcraft Micro and everyone wanted one and Slingshot didn't have any to sell and people started buying KS boards and other boutique pocket boards. Similar with the Onda. Lots of locals would have happily bought the 633 with "Slingshot" branding on it, but they were all out of stock so people started buying Moses ones. Now there's a Moses dealer local, too. There are also a lot of Clouds being flown in Hood River. The freeride foil scene is big here and people like what Greg Drexler is doing. Meanwhile Slingshot hasn't introduced anything new for over a year, and North/Duotone missed the boat on hydrofoils. These local brands (or at least with local designers) seem to be more interested in "wind wings" and tiny windfoils, despite the beach being covered with freeride kitefoils and strapless surfboards, and those cuistomers will go somewhere else if the gear is better.

Re: Greg & BRM. I would much prefer a mfg who is not obsessed on forcing up the next big "Game Changer" onto the unsuspecting public every new year. Too often I've purchased too many toys thinking THIS is really it.... (Airush Sector 60, Fat Lady, etc, etc). Give me the designer who also daily goes out onto the water and rides/refines his product before hoisting it.
Also love my KS.

There are are "Game Changers” though - people got excited about lowend of 548, Moses was good to see the need for 590 (and should have continued a step further this year). The 633 was "the new which is well forgotten old" and largely thanks to Gunnar's pitch it picked up as a kitewing and it became a game changer.

Did I mention that surf fuselage could be shorter, which brings back my question of why do we really need two different fuselages for kitefoiling
Here’s Stringy’s 610 (24”) fuselage with 420 stabilizer

Can somebody please explain the differences between the Moses kite and surf fuselages?

1) Is there any performance difference between the old (2017) and new kite fuselage?
2) What is the difference between the various surf fuselages available (including aftermarket options).

Thanks!
