Not really adding much that hasn't been said already, but I would agree that the 6m is a very different kite.

Hmm, glad to hear about 6m.

However, clearly remember reports about overflying the WW from very experienced kiters in here.

Which is not for faint hearted.

Let us know.

I went down to 14m lines on my Souls and love it. More direct feel, able to hold down more power (needed for tacks), and as you said, easier to launch on a crowded beach.

I think you do give up some boosting height but it hasn’t bothered me much.
Thank you. Was going to try 16m or 17m to start with and see how it goes. Not overly concerned about boosting height as I want to be out on the hydrofoil all the time now and am not convinced by jumping on that.

Certainly not a problem that I have experienced. Extremely well mannered.

I was a bit worried about launching in higher winds, as I never pre-inflate the kite before launch, but I have found the 6m to be super well behaved. Almost zero pull until it is fully inflated (which happens very quickly) and I haven't had it overfly once. I can carve really hard towards the kite and it just drifts downwind, so I think you would have to really try to get it to overfly. Maybe it is possible with some freaky combination of sheeting and flying at the edge of the window, but it is not something that I have seen.

Definitely fake news! Used the 6m Soul in a range of wind strengths, foil & twin tip. Probably the best behaved size in the whole Soul range.

that's.. astounding frankly.
imo, the potential of this kite is just getting scratched.

just to rehash..
if you can utilize a massive amt of power on demand in a kite that a even beginner can water relaunch..this is probably best in class.
yes,,,easy to use but this is still a high performance foil kite.

if you want to do that greg drexler style figure 8w with mucho room for error... a soul may not be what you want (esp the bigger sizes)
...it will want to pick you up (boost) if you make a boo boo

(peak4, Waves...and yes clouds are better options)
