Like the 2015 Cabrinha FX bag?

Because they sucked. I much prefer the zipped versions of my other bags. The handling is just superior.

Airush Ultra 12m bag is ridiculously small, thankfully the zippy IKEA bag makes the ideal substitute, https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90149148/

I never paid much attention to kite bags. Put the kite in it, throw it in the car. I recently had the opportunity to take a trip where we had to hike quite a distance to the kite spot. I had just bought a new Ocean Rodeo kite with their new bag. It's amazing how much gear you can put into it and how comfortable it is to carry. If they just sold the bag, I'd probably buy another one.

Best had the best bags with the lightweight sock. Those bags would last.

Agree, you don’t need multiple kite bags, that lightweight sock for each is the way to go and one good bag to carry them.

IF you travel on a plane, weight and bulk of bags is an issue.

Never mind the cost of the bag.

In like using the mystic kite protector bag where you roll up the kite.

And zippers, why not just build a rucksack with a top flap and no zippers?
The older Best bags (2006 - 2011) were large rucksack style with a top flap & no zippers ... not as good as the later bags, however. The zippers on the Best bags seem to be holding out pretty well - I have a bag from 2013 that is still fully functional. Don't kite in salt water at home though ...

Flysurfer soul.. for $2000+ would it kill them to add a strap so that I could carry the bag over the shoulder? Ended up buying a blue ikea bag with a zipper

Like the old 2013 Ozone bag
https://www.versusshop.nl/media/wysiwyg ... lyst-8.jpg
I like the more recent Ozone bags even better as they use heavy duty plastic zippers. The latest bags from Ozone are awesome.. roomy, light weight firm material, drain holes for sand etc etc. You don't realize how good you got it until you see other kite bags with broken or seized metal zippers.

FS is giving now bag and backpack to their kite. For 15m its not very easy to fit kite without compressing it but it is top quality.

got my 15m 2 months ago - no backpack.. can I reclaim it? :-)
This is really a big deal to me, I usually have to walk 5-8 minutes to a launch spot with 2 boards (FB,TT) and a kite.. this only works seamless with a backpack..
