I wouldn't say the Impulse foil (low aspect grey wing) is faster then the Happy Foil (blue medium aspect wings). If you want speed you need to go with higher aspect wings. The impulse is a actually the same design as a the Cloud IX surf wings, it is not meant to go fast it is meant to surf waves. It starts foiling at a very low rate of speed and has a cruising speed of around 15 - 20 knots

Impulse is 1126 cm^2
Happy is 584 cm^2
They both have 61 cm wingspan, so Impulse is about twice as deep.

If anyone is looking for a LF Happy Foil wing set (front, rear, covers, shims), I have one for $220 US in Kansas, USA. I am not sure about international shipping.

Mackiteboarding has the best compilation of foil areas.

Hi

I was thing the liquid force thruster is 850 cm2, but I was see I wrong

Is many differences between the thruster and impulse?

I only ride with the happy and its fun for me, very fast velocity and response.

Its a big change from a happy to a impulse?

Is better from a happy to a thruster?

Thanks

I have thruster and impulse.
Thruster has higher top speed.
Impulse very slow and very stable. Everything happens like in slow motion. Can use smaller kite.
If you are after a new experience go impulse. Thruster has similar speed range to the happy.
