First hand Raptor experience - as you could see from charts/scores Slingshot published the Raptor is supposed to be a replacement of 2017 small Turbines which are hell of boosting devices.

I flew Raptor 10m (with a foil. I know I'm addicted and I couldn't wait) in quite light wind and I was amazed on lightwindability of it - it stayed very stable at 10/2 o'clock, it wasn't backstalling like a small Turbine would and it carved absolutely smooth and controlled loops while a small Turbine would kick your ass.

Can’t wait to get a boosting session on them

Great kite!

I was going to say the 2010 Octane and Rally "hooked up", but the more I look at this Raptor kite and compare it to old photos of the Link I see nearly the same shape especially in the wingtip profile. I'd say it's simply a Link "reinvented" for 2020.

I liked the rev, the link was a heavy ass kite. my Rally does boost so I'd be interested to see how this sits against that. Hopefully a better looper than the rally

BIG things coming soon...

Picture1.png
I generally have respected slingshot as a company but if they are actually naming a one strut sst “Hover Flite” then that is just pathetic, trying to capitalize on/muddle name recognition of one of the most loved current models from Ocean Rodeo? Or at the very least confuse people? I mean, really? Of all the names and spellings possible....
“Ghost” will be the name. You can see it in Sam Light IG stories.

I am big fan of RPM, and I would love to try Raptor. My only concern with Raptor is V1, I feel I should wait for V2. Little defect found by rider will be fix. Any thought?
