Ouch that hurts. Might as well be made of unobtainium if that’s the price.

“Were the same prices earlier today?! I don't remember seeing 3099,00 € (shipping excl.!!!) when I fist opened the link.
”
Coronation definitely raised the price a few hundred since the link got posted.

I guess above answers questions whether new material is affordable
There was a niche price range between Core and foil kites and it’s filled now. Good to know

at the same time, there's no reason why a German shop would be the best way to purchase some canadian made kites. Right?
To this day, this shop is the only one offering this product, and it's just a pre-order anyway, and maybe OR haven't yet unraveled their sales plan. So by all accounts, it can be considered bullshit. Either clickbait to get attention to their kiteshop or they're genuinely aiming to capture the elusive customer who can't wait for wider availability, and who's ready to put more money on the table to score a win at the gear wank competition.

So much for the speculation that it might add another $100 to a kite.
I think most people would rather have two "conventional" kites than one Aluua.

I would not take that german shop price too seriously, whether they try to price gouge on the new rags or not...

availability Nov means they missed european 2019 season anyway and spring 2020 will provide a clearer view on the light lightwind LEIs coming up.
Kauper XT just started with a direct selling 3-strut Foil optimised LEI in just the opposite price direction. I doubt OR to realise to high a premium in the german market. The brand recognition was much to low in the past.

Some shops do it all the time (king of watersports in the UK, Flysurf in France) advertising products or pretending they are in stock ahead of their release. Sad but nothing new.
