Foilers!
I just read thru maybe 200-300 Moses posts, and my head is now officially spinning! I'll be out on the water here shortly which should calm things down.
I currently ride a Moses 91cm 633/483 w/no modifications on a dwarf craft 3'6" and I am very happy and competent/confident riding.
What would the next logical complimentary setup be? I am looking for more speed and love to carve.
Thanks.

Buy a 20% thinner, 20% smaller 683s wing which will fit same fuselage/stabilizer setup you already have. You’ll up your speed and fun factor without losing lightwindability.
Still want to improve speed - replace 483 stabilizer with 420 or 425, it'll feel smoother and faster
Want even more speed? Get a 590/647/330 set, it takes to have the 647 kitefoil fuselage which then can also mount even faster 558 wing or race wing/stabilizer

can you say where you got the 610 fuselage?
I asked Jimmy Stringfellow and he said "My fuselage is 749mm length from end to end."

Stringy’s longer fuselage is 743mm. 749 is stock Moses fuselage
He made the 610 and should have it on a spot today. Same as one Rick rode

Maybe the 610 is still at test stage.
I have the Moses 710 fuselage and like the idea of a shorter one to possibly reduce front foot pressure and add more manoeuvrability. Have a 325 stab to try also. Not easy to get access to stabs like the 450 or 425 to try.

710 is just more compact compared to 749. It rides the same.
Stringy’s fuselages have mast placed right next to the wing and that changes mast and/or feet placement
I think 610 is in “order one” stage

Oh wait...
Why instead of larger-than-590 wing for 647 fuselage there can't be a smaller/thinner-than-683s for 710 fuselage?
Let it use same mount, it can stick ahead of fuselage tip just a tiny tad and have arrowhead, swept back shape like Cruizer does.
Maybe have a new kite stabilizer which would work great for both 683s and the new wing and it'd be a nice set.

I have a Moses Onda 633 wing. I want to accelerate my learning of tack/gybe foot switches which I'm finding a little tricky. I understand that both the 683s and 790 wings are a little more stable than the 633... but I cant decide which of these 2 wings would be better for progression?

I’d say keep learning on 633.
Get 683s if you want to go faster and more stable at speed
Get 790 if you want to go slower, to play in waves
Return to “Hydrofoil”
