Can anyone share which sun protection works for our lips?
I have found now, that it is a MAJOR problem for a lot more than one would think.
For us living further up north or south, it is a problem when travelling to warmer areas on holidays, and could be a problem for local residents too.
You are in the sun a lot, many hours on and at the water each day, using factor 30 or 50 sun protection and wearing sunglasses as often as possible.
No problems with that
But if you use the typical lipstick factor 20-30-50 or whatever, it does not work that well, feels like not at all, as you still end up getting a sunburned lower lip and have to live with the aaaargh consequences for many weeks or months, after you get home
So whats the catch - apart from a facemask which would be unbearable to use, which lip sun protections are really durable and effective for watersports?
AND, okay to use regularly for normal use also, every surfday, as I know many zink products are not usable for lips, only for the harder skin.
Many girls recommend this or that when asked here locally, but no offense, I doubt it is much more than those many of us have used that are NOT sufficient.
