I'm adding pictures of cleat upgrade and a 450kg bearing swivel.
The unit weights 73gr.
the previous version with cabrinha small swivel works fine.
It did not break while jumping over 15m high and while racing overpowered in the Polish Cup.
However the Cabrinha swivel turns with dificulties when overpowered.
The new swivel seems to be saver and more comfortable option.

Beside one stupid question to you barbuilders: why nobody is using just 2 depowerropes through the barhole? Wouldn't that make some things easier? Never seen that, but I wonder if it would be an easy solution. One connected to the safetyleash, one connected to a QR. No adjuster needed, because I want to use it only in marginal winds. No swivel needed, I can do kiteloops to unwind.

Thx, i will build it like that. You think the breaking load of the plastic ball is enough?

The plastic ball holds very little force - thats working principle of almost all quick releases and that why they are easy to operate under load. Plastic ball is just "gate" that hold pin in closed position. Pin holds load

This aluminium swivel works perfect.
Two hours test on the water - not a single twist on the power lines.
it keeps them all the time separated.
Highly recommended:

No idea - I made it myself out of Cabrinha ball and Cab quick release pin (2010-2013?)
