I just got mine, The wings seems pretty long.
And the metal attachment clasp is welded aluminum? with no plastic to protect the webbing.
That certainly gives me some pause in considering the long term reliability of this part of the harness.

Can the hook version be converted to surf version? How easily is the hook removed? If the hook is removed, can I add a short loop in the same way as the surf bar? ta

Will you be able to pull the knife out once those 2 straps have been cranked down tight?

Poacher, where will you now store your knife, I have a Stealth coming too.
Pics are usually more useful.

If you have a 2018 or older harness; Knife and the ''MYSTIC ADAPTIVE LEASH EYE'' needs to bought separately
If you have a 2019 Majestic (X) harness: both included
PS insane price for the eye at Blast, in Holland it only costs €6...
Is this definitely correct? I can't see this on any official info? What knife is supplied and where do they say to attach it?
Cheers

Yes & No! The 2018 s-bar came with a knife and a dedicated slot/holster. The front leash attachment was a small loop on the front of the hook s-bar. The rope s-bar had no front leash attachment point.
The 2019 harness DOES NOT come with a knife (at least here in the US). Also the knife slot/holster in now located on the Battle Belt closure and requires their updated 2019 knife to fit inside. The 2018 knife is too big to fit inside.

Both the hook and rope versions of the Stealth s-bar DO NOT come with a knife nor do they have a slot for them.
Attaching a Stealth bar onto a 2018 harness will require getting two addition items... a knife with holster to attach onto the straps (or somewhere else) and either the Leash Eye or simply a metal ring threaded around an adjustment strap for the front leash attachment. I use this ring for my front leash attachment on my 2018 harness...

Yep.
I tried it and the knife was still easy to pull out.

Hey,
Did anyone manage to put duotone's chickenloop through the small loop? With long rope at first it didn't go, but after attaching to the ring, the line stretched and now it is easy to attach. I am not sure if this small one would stretch or should I exchange it for something longer.

Yes. I actually took some 5mm nylon cord, threaded it through the small loop, got the small loop wet, and then gave it a good tug. That made it just big enough to fit the CL. After my 1st session it stretched out perfectly just like the longer rope.

I originally bought the surf bar and wanted to hook my North chicken loop to the small loop. Had to work hard to get it in there and I hung on it for a while, but there's no way it would reliably emergency release being that tight. I sent the spreader bar back and got the hook model instead.

I'm curious about this as well with an Ozone loop which is blocky. I was thinking if needed I'd add a SS ring to the small loop as well, wouldn't that work? Don't have mine yet.
