The slingshot spaceskate (big frontwing) helped me a lot in learning strapless foiling. I can do foiled gybes, foiled footswitches, surface tacks now. But I feel like I've grown now and need new gear. It feels often too slow, approaching to 360s for example.
Thoughts? Am I just too stupid for the advanced stuff or is it time to change to new gear?

Um... I do 360s and foiling tack to toeside on my 82cm wide wing and 75cm mast. I'm not doing the impossible, am I?
Designed to be modular -- grab another wing and see? Or try a smaller board, longer mast...

Tried smaller wing today (slingshot h2). Allthough it's new it seems interesting... More speed, more turnability...

H2 is the original wing, isn't it?

The original Hoverglide front wing is the H5. The H2 is the surf wing. I have both. H2 is stable, slow and good for learning transitions. The H5 is smaller, faster and more skate-like.

H5 aka NF2 and now all have word names too, just to increase the confusion.
I use h2 for bigger wave surf foiling, infinity 84 for small waves. The infinity 76 is the new all rounder , has somewhat replaced h2 for most uses I think.
H4 aka batwing aka manta ... I found it pretty unstable surf foiling but it's a fun kite wing. Slow and turny. You will enjoy more speed on the smaller wings.

Space skate was bat wing or also H4. The original was the H5 or NF 2 and now I believe timecode 57cm. I have both. I love the h4 though, I've hit 39kmh and as slow as 13kmh through my GPS watch. If you crave something different go for it!
Not to highjack the thread, but slingshot and moses were/are together right? Moses has the 683 wing, does slingshot make a wing similar to that?

I’ve been pushing the h5 and hit 40,7kmh.
Now I bought a speedy h4 and wonder de speed range of it. Saw somewhere on youtube it can go up to 25-26 knots.
The shape reminds a little the spotz tuna I guess.
What would be the advantage of a wider span? Perrhaps stability at higher speeds?
I would like to hear some thoughts about this wing also called warp speed since it isnt that popular.

I weigh 70kg and on a Dwarftcraft 4'6" I can hold the H4 or "SpaceSkate" in 14-16 knots wind on a 7m prodigy to 39km/h or around 21knots according to my gps watch. Really have to focus though.. after that it gets super twichy. I usually get nervous and with no one around, just do a boardless boost haha.
Have not tried the Warp Speed but looks fast.. I'm looking for something to take me into the 50km/h range but still have some low end stability..
