My friend Marcel only had some 30 minutes last weekend to test the lightwind performance of the 7m Maverick at his local lake between Holland and Belgium. Our friend Czarek has filmed him with his mobile phone so the quality is not perfect. Anyway I am happy that these guys have sent me the small videos.

First videos shows the lightwind performance of the 7m Maverick.
Second video was made in the "highwind-period  " within these 30 min. There you can see the agility of the Maverick kite.

That´s indeed also a problem for us.
We would wish to have more Maverick kites and Pintxo bars on stock.
Actually I am working hard to get them asap.
Sorry that you have to wait.

Have you checked the German oase.com forum yet?
With Google translate it should be no problem to "read" it. :o
There are some reviews and lots of more info, also from my side.

You need only 2 pair of extension lines, 3m and 6m to get all of your line lenghts.

I would like to know how the back line depower is set up inside the bar. I assume the back lines join together inside the bar and there is some kind of pulley or post inside the bar for the knotted line to be able to pull out to shorten the back lines.
There are no pulleys inside the bar in order to have a simple system quite resistant against sand, dust etc.

....
Hi Rainer

I made a little simulation of the bar to understand how it works. My understanding is that the line on the right of the bar comes around a post in the middle of the bar to convert the pull out of the trim line to a pull in motion on the leader line on that side (your knotted trim line is the orange line in my simulation). Is that correct?

Can you tell us a but more about what is happening inside your bar? I am guessing the centre hole has a fitting around it to give it shape and strength and probably to run the trim line around. Is this correct? Is it all made from plastic or carbon or some stainless steel?

Thanks for any information you care to share.
