Does someone here have a definitive review and un-biased comparison on the various Moses wings... 590, 633, 790, 683, and other low-wind lift wings? I own the 590 and 633 but I'm looking for options. I like both but been exclusively on the 633 lately for it's forgiving lift during foot-switches. My negatives on the 633 is I find it's not as pleasant when you try to push more speed with it.
What's the better surf wing that give both optimal lift, but can be more joy at moderate speeds?
Any review of the 683 front wing as an option over the 633?
And would I also need to switch out my 483 stabilizer with a front wing change?

I own the same setup with 590/633 and feel exactly like you about the 633. I love it for foot swtich forgiveness and for just any trick you may want to try but sometimes i just want to go fast.... The 790 i personally did not like it at all. So i am waiting for my 720 and hope it will be the answer for my onda fuselage. I’ve never tried the 683 but heard it is faster than the 633 with still good low speed capacity. For only one wing it might be the best all around for what you want. But for no compromise the 633/720 might be the best combo, i hope at least

I have owned/do own the 590/633, and tried the 683 and 790. What I can tell you, which you already know, is that if you gain in one characteristic, you give up in another.
590: fast and loose/low yaw stability compared to the 633
683: faster than the 633, but not by a lot--10%? More of a "skate feel" compared to 633, but loss of yaw stability. Perhaps 1/2 between 590-633 stability wise, but much closer to 633 with respect to speed.
790: smoooooth riding larger wing. Very stable in all respects. Slower than 633 with a larger turning radius.
633: Best compromise--for me--of stability/speed/turn radius.
90% of my foiling days are in 20 mph avg winds or more, with significant river swell to play on--Columbia River Gorge--so faster wings outrun the terrain I want to stay on. Less stable wings make learning tacks, foot switches etc more difficult for me. For this reason, I sold my 590 after getting a 633. If I were foiling in a flatter water location, I might be tempted to find some more speed. But, I am a bigger guy and the stability of the surf style wings really helps me progress much faster.

The 683 stall speed is definitely more apparent than the 633 but the tradeoff is more overall speed (as said above)...which I find is the great balance....VERY excited to hear about what folks have to say about 720 vs. the 683...
I ride the 633 in very light winds...but the whole rig tends to put a LOT of pressure on everything...the feet, the bar....Im sick of light wind foiling for this reason....trying to grind out a session in light winds with allthe heavy loading aint worth it...no fun.....for me anyways....the irony is foiling gets you out in lighter winds...but there comes a point where riding 10 knots becomes too much work...not to hijack the thread....

i have a 790...its definitely a keeper for underpowered wave riding.
i looked into the 645, 720 and 900 wings for more speed....got a little annoyed trying to put this moses puzzle together and just decided to go with the new chubanga
...ended up selling my 633 and old 550 wings

Maybe you could just change out the 483 for a 325 stabilizer? Would make the 633 feel more livelier , cheaper option too

the OP's neg about the 633 is "not as pleasant when you try to push more speed with it."
which is true.
correct me if i'm wrong, but despite the popularity...the 633 was not designed for kitesurf use or for "pushing speed".
it was/is a SUP wing (which would not have the issues with speed)...and it has already been made obsolete by newer wings for kitesurf use(imo)
the limitations of the 633 were corrected with the release of the 683 free ride and 790 "all in one" wings
