Nobody in this forum tried the Lethal or any other kiteboard from the Gong range?

I have heard about it, but never seen any gear on the beach.

Gong comes from windsurfing, right ?

I have Gong Catch 5.2 as my first directional. can't comment performance much, but quality is ok.

I tried last year's Gong Catch 5'2''. It's on the heavy side but it seems durable and well built. I love the FCSII fin system. It goes very well upwind and the board has a nice pop for jumps. Unfortunately I tried it only on flat water so I can't say about how well it does on the surf with such a low rocker but it felt lively and playful under my feet. My guess is that it should be ok on onshore waves and not that great on a big and high period swell.

I haven't tried the Lethal but judging by the specs it seems to be oriented to solid powerful waves but not good for going upwind and it seems to need more kite power.

If you don't mind a board with a bit of extra weight but very durable at a great price then I think you'll be satisfied with Gong boards.
