Anyone have got any nice angle mounting an action camera on a board?
I am trying to figure out the best positions to capture the board and foil along with the water and maybe my front foot so I could get the foot switch on camera.
I figured the helmet side mount placed somewhere on the rear side of the board would maybe cover near all of it. Also the wrist mount seems to be a nice option as it turns 360 while your hand is free to hold the bar or swing back to cover the foil perspective.
If someone had any success attempting this or other angles please let me know how you set it up.
wouldnt it be same as a for a surfboard?
no need to re-invent the wheel here...
Nope, too short and you end uo looking at your feet.
Try a line mount, ther are a couple that are very nive, either with a gymbal (Noir Matter), or just in the lines (I recomend Camrig)

Just watched Sam Light´s youtube video 150km foiling around the island and I guess he used a mouth mount with a safety strap.
