For anyone interested I’m having good success using bin liners when vac bagging rather than bagging film and bagging tape. Very cheap and no stuffing around looking for leaks. Just seal the end with a cable tie and vac down. The picture is of a new wing I’m building.

Done, waiting for the wings to arrive in a month or so.
Main goal was to get a much wider board than those offered in the market and also enjoy the process. Since I'm a big foot guy, I found myself always on the rails of the board, wishing for a bit more space to move the legs.

tail width - 44
mid width - 51

so its also a very floaty one.
Came out a bit heavy ~ 3.5kg, but this is due to the wood core, massive stringers and novice knowledge of handling resin and fabric, but I bet its bullet proof :)

so just to summerize the layup
3 X 6oz glass
1 X 20cm 6oz carbon strip full length
2 X paulownia stringers 2cm wide
paulownia core for the bolts part - 18x30cm
g10 expoy plate 2mm
1 X 20cm 6oz carbon strip full length
3 X 6oz glass

The problem with building one is you always think about the next one and the improvements, so fun
Thank you all.

The learning is fun. And you learn by doing !
The wood core and plates are Overkill.
Next time drop in 80kg foam under mast, the whole thickness of board. Then use a bit more cf each side instead of the wood stringers.
You can get down to 2,5 kg easy.
Glue in your inserts in glass filled epoxy.
