I read some people has issues with the the lines on the Duotone bar (they broke kinda fast compared to other brands). Did they change/improve that already?

Reports differ. You have people claiming that the lines are utter crap and a huge amount of people not saying anything. Taking into consideration how many bars they sell, the amount of complaints is pretty much nothing. Word is that the lines on the 2020 bar are the same as 2019 and that there was pretty much no change on the click bar since 2018. Buying a used bar and exchanging lines against dyneema sk99 lines or q-power lines seems to be what many do.
Now the line breaking reports I saw were for the clickbar. That bar needs higher maintenance and you never know how people treat their gear.

Those lines are not that bad, but are not great either, given bar price. SK99 should be a standard.

Two years on click bars. The lines showed more wear than I had ever seen on kite lines after 6 months. This had nothing to do with it being a click bar.
The red deposer line that passes through the bar is also prone to wear. That is specific to the click bar and you will have to monitor it and replace at some point.
I've switched to sk99 lines and they don't show any of the issues I had with the original lines.

Interesting. Did you even replace the deposer line that passes through the bar with sk99 or only the steering lines/power lines? If yes, how does that work so far? I've only replaced the latter as the deposer line did not show too much wear after 3 years of usage.
I am not sure why reports differ so much. I use my bar mainly in fresh water and also rinse it after every session. Until now there is no problem except shortening of the steering lines, but that's for sure not a problem that is limited to the click bar.
