Had a few sessions on the 2020 10m - love this kite.
Fast, great boost and glide - fun on the surfboard and the twintip. Light on the bar. Can’t ask for much more.
The 2019 12m I got is also nice but noticeably heavier on the bar - could be the size, maybe it’s improved in 2020 - not sure.
New inflation system is much better since I am used to a similar setup from my cabs.

I also got my 10 out again...yeah its becoming a favorite. I rode it in side on conditions, with the global. Great, responsive and powerful.

What line length are you guys using on the 2020 pivot?
Also, I read the 12m pivot historically has been much slower than the 11m (more than expected being 1m bigger), have this carried over to the 2020 pivot? Trying to decide to go 7m, 9m and 11m or 8m, 10m and 12m.
Cheers,
Rob

How is the 2020 pivot unhooked, I tried a 2019 Pivot and though it was very poor at unhooked freestyle, and backstalled easily (I'm a Torch flyer) ? I was very impressed with the boosting on the 2019, have they maintained that boosty nature ?

The kite hasn’t changed in the 2020 release.

I guess the Dash is the better bet if you want to unhook, but still have a more freeride feel than the torch.

Well, IMO the Pivot has seen pretty significant changes in the 2020 edition. In addition to the all-new external one-pump system and brand new low profile inflation point, they added a seam that increases tension in the canopy. This should increase the jumping and reactiveness.
Here is what Naish writes about it:
****
What’s new?
This year we have fine tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the back line tension further towards the center of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite as well as the new OnePoint and SureLock Inflation System.

The new pump system is very nice although I had no issues with the Octopus system. For me the flying characteristics did not change from 2019 to 2020. Maybe one can notice it flying 2019 and 2020 really side by side. Just taking the 2020 out I couldn´t. It just feels great, like always...

Hello . I have a pivot 12m 2019 and ozone edge 11m V9. both kites are brilliant, in my opinion the pivot is faster. I use a 22-24m bar on my pivots.
