good luck.

late september to october is the rainy season... which means it is the single worst time for wind the whole year.

Actually, Nov-Dec is the rainiest time of the year, with Dec being the rainiest month historically. That being said, we have been in major drought mode since we didn't really get any rain last rainy season. It's been so bad that they have been turning off the water from the water company every other day and people who have cisterns have to rely on that water.

Now we have had rainstorms all summer (which is great for us who live here). So, I would say after living here full time for 9 years that things have been pretty odd around here and I wouldn't bet on anything and I think you should bring your quiver because who knows what will happen :)

how about wind?

i'm only in town 4-5 total months during year.... and after spending a september-october there once...i made sure it didnt happen again.

maybe it is my imagination... but december always had better winds than i remembered in october. (trade winds starting up?)
