Less than two weeks to go til the Kite Mansion Open

The Kite Mansion Open is back for it’s second year and once again the Kite Park League Champions will be crowned in Icapuí, Brazil. With both the men's and women's division rankings super tight, the final stop of the 2019 season is set to be one to remember!

The Kite Mansion Open, the only competition of the year with metal rails and a unique line format, will put the best park riders from over 10 different nationalities to the test. Bringing a park event to Brazil has always been a top priority for event organizers Alex Maes & Annelous Lammerts. With consistent wind and butter flat water combined with the Kite Mansion Park, there couldn’t be a better place for the final stop of the 2019 Kite Park League Tour!

Leaving the beaches in a better condition than we found them is one of the top priorities at the KPL. The Kite Mansion Open will kick off with two massive beach clean-ups presented by kitesurf.org on the 14th and 15th of September. With the support of kitesurf.org there will be 220 new mangrove trees to plant so the riders can continue planting the KPL forrest in Icapuí. Mangrove trees are extremely important for the biodiversity, maintaining water quality, coastal defense and carbon storage to reduce our carbon footprint.
