Bought a 16m Helium last yr sent it back. Pulled hard left when foiling at speed and loved to Hindenburg. Bought a 12m Nitro in January. Had 3 valves leak already and they pulled off crazy easy. 3rd valve leaked last week so I'm gonna 5200 all the fuckking valves.

My kites are in AC other than when I fly them. During transitions with foil if u get under your kite the Nitro also Hindenburgs quite easy. Relaunch is shit. Jumps good and I like its turning speed vs my SB. Ive got a 15m Turbine now and just love that kite for my LW foiling. I may tip toe into foil kites eventually. Ive had it with bladders and valves.

I was going to buy some footpads. The price was good with a 35% discount. But then I went to check out and $45 usd for freight killed it. Too expensive.

You can contact Switch for free adjustable pigtails
Yes I contacted switch and got the canned response please send pictures, so now when I get time I'll roll out the lines and take pictures of the steering line shorter on one side. Like I said brand new bar out of the box can't use with new kite. Now let Customer Service piss the customer off more and ask for pictures from 6 different angles, I will just make a set of adjustable pigtails myself. Switch Customers service has gone away... its a joke.

The solution I got from them was to send the kite, plus control bar (custom made) to another continent (so they could "test it"), and requiring me to take care of the shipping costs. Nasty solution to discourage a client to use the warranty.

BTW, their website has the perfect example of bullshit marketing... RUNOUT, 50% OFF, MEGA SALE, RUNOUT SALE, SPECIALS DEALS, "Some one in XXX purchased XXX"...

I have an Element 6 10m. I like it. No problems. Flies well.

I'm not happy where switch went with their marketing.
I'm also worried about their kites, are they still as good as they were? I have old nitros and they are great, but how is the new nitro, it changed a lot. New designer / copy of another brand kite? :D
I wouldn't buy new nitro without trying it first.. And haven't seen any, impossible to try

Who is the new designer?
Ex Airush designer from Ikon kites, Element and Krypto. Ex F-One designer from Storm kites, Helium and Nitro. Forgot the names.

Yeah, their marketing went a bit overboard with all the sales and deals. It all feels a bit easy and cheap. And the communication via forums is nearly non existant nowadays... shame. Plenty of Facebook posts though.

Gear is still good. There's always a chance you won't like a model, or there's a defect. As with all brands.

I own several Switch kites including the new Element 6 12m. Works fine. Their kites have been some of the best robust build quality I have owned and I have owned plenty (Ozone, Naish, Liquid Force in multiple sizes). I like them for what they are besides the marketing.
