Hey guys I need help to decide for my next kite purchase.
So my last kite was the F-one Halo in 10m, which, after falling in love with it tragicly, let me down badly. But that's another story for another post.
Now I'm glaring over three kites basically, which are:
Peter Lynn Aero V2
Peter Lynn Nova V1
F-one Diablo V4
I mainly foil with a F-one Escape 510 and love the speed out of it, though I also love good old overpowered freeriding with a twintip.
Oh and also, dispite the Halo letting me down, I loved the soft bar pressure it had, compared to a Flysurfer Soul for example.
So what would you guys reccomend for me to get? And if money was not a problem for you, which would you prefer to buy?
My spot has winds from 7-25 knots maybe...

one of those is nothing like the others...
are you looking for a high aspect race kite?
...or an easier to fly freeride kite?

That is the question that can define your purchase

Yes I know that the Nova is totally different and thats why I'm so torn, since I love all the things a high aspect ratio kite can give you when with a foil, but at the same time I love freeriding on TT with a Soul or Halo...
Therefore my main questions are: are high aspect ratio kites any good for TT freeriding as well and how's the bar pressure on all those three kites, in comparison with a Soul or a Halo..?
And about my Halo accident, I will soon write something, but basically during 20 knots or so one front line torned itself which created havok to the kite...

Line broke, which could have been most likely because of damage or less likely a defect and you therefore need to replace the whole kite?
Time to grow up.

Yeah that'd be nice, but even with growing up I have to sew together the Halo since it couldn't stand the pressure on three lines, so the kite got ripped in three places where the lines are attached...
But all that does not have to do with my previous questions...

And why not get a Soul 10?
High aspect ratio can work well with the twintips (see a flysurder Sonic 2 for example), the question you shouldbe asking is if the bridles that come with the Diablo 4 and the Areo V2 can whistand the higher tension generated by the load of a twintip.
If I were you, and my main program was just rusing fast and having a fun time with a twintip I ld go for a Soul, or a Sonic 2, not a race kite.

Quite right but as I stated I want that light bar feeling the Halo had and the Soul 10 I've tried couldn't deliver that. Thanks for the tips though, but I'm really interested in the Nova and it's bar pressure, since I've just tired the Nova in 6, but I imagine it being quite different from a 10?

juanpasala, OP has Soul-12 according to his profile, so I think he knows that bar pressure is too heavy what he's looking. I'd not expect bar pressure change much between Soul-10 and Soul-12, nor newly or to-be released Soul-9?
