Gunnar, you are a madman! Great idea. Many of us have old race boards around. So, the center fin position Tuttle box was in the right spot to mount the foil -- as far as being a good position for the foil mount? No modifications required?

Just as interesting, where was your camera mounted and how?

Thanks,
Stafford

Yes, but it needs to be a windfoil or in this case a surf foil wing on a windfoil fuselage. Although it also works with large surf foils like to Go Foil, but just not as good as this setup with the Moses 873 on a windfoil setup

Yes it works. All summer, I have been using an old Aguerra 85 liter race board for prone surfing (long board style since its floaty), and for light wind kiteboarding.

Hi Gunnar,
Have you continued to use the Raceboard with a windfoil?
This guy has mounted a box a bit further forward on one and is using a surf fuselage foil. If it turns out that the original Raceboard tuttle box wasn't strong enough for a windfoil, it might be better to add a deep tuttle (or tracks?) in front of the original box to wing foil it?

Yes you can do that. It really depends on how strong the boxes are on the board. The boxes on North Board where not even strong enough to hold normal race fins, so probably a good idea on that board. So far I have had no issues with my Temavento or Aguera.

Thanks Gunnar - that's very useful information. It's a North board I have.
