Do people do this with or without a kiteloop or is either ok? For me they seem to work better without and just a hard redirect once I lift off the water - when I do it with a kiteloop I don’t seem to get the lift as well. I think it’s probably just a matter of a slower or slightly later kiteloop but happy for tips!
I’m thinking I should persist with including a kiteloop as I’d love to get a Jesus walk sorted and that will definitely need one.
for me, definitely with a kiteloop, to style it up with a grab. Would be pretty hard to redirect kite forward with your back hand (only) without one..
not sure why you are not getting lift with a loop..if you time it a half second earlier you should get plenty of lift..
There is a couple of rather small slides in the video from last week below.. I tend to do much better with my 15 soul.. but I did not take it for this trip...

I would like to see a darkslide with a foilboard, with the wing in the air.
Would it be possible to make that look good, or would the foil not allow for movement out of the water and landing like that?

I've seen a few foilboard slides they can look pretty good. Dancing with swords.

probably not.. this was a rental north bar that I used for a couple of sessions, after my CORE bar predictably crapped out on me (central PU tube opened on one line)
