I bought an old 2012 ozone Catalyst 4m kite for $150. Works fine in 20kts + for my 81kg. Used to have a BRM C5 3.5m as well and that was also pretty good.

i like the the F-One Breeze in 3m.
(dont own..but used to foil a ~30kt day in DR)

i want to like a Cloud E in 2.2 too.. but that kite may as well be a unicorn.
never seen one in the wild and i've yet to see one listed on the cloudrider facebook groups (i've been wanting to buy a gently used one)

4m switch element in 25mph is nice, and the 5m is fun in 15-20 on 25m lines.

I use my Concept Air Wave 4.5 from above 16 knots to about 25. I use my 3 meter from above 20 knots to above 30. I have not tried it higher than that. These are the wind ranges I most enjoy them in, not the maximum and minimum they could be used in. I just came in from using the 4.5. Easy drift launching and landing in the water. It is a joy to use.

you can ride 4.5 wave up to 43 kts?
..on a foil?

me in 43 kts on a 4.5m CA wave= me getting dragged down a beach by a kite likes to self launch

i had a 4.5 wave...but imo it absolutely needed "clean"(not to gusty winds) in my hands..
actually i grew to hate the way the waves behaved in gusty winds...i'd have to "watch" and pay attention to the kite which is the exact opposite what i want to do on any type of break.
also.. what the wave does best(depower and drift)...i learned a peak4 does even better.

once i realized 'hey, i practically never put kites in the water'.. i started using my 3m and 5m peak4 100% of the time for relaxed riding.
since during winter and especially when hurricanes are off-shore...waves at somewhere like playa encuentro en DR can get massive..and come at high frequency.
i still do not trust a peak4 to get me out an impact zone when i'm getting my ass beat (hard to do if kite is already in drink and i cant relaunch it quickly)....which is why i'd like a tiny inflatable...
doesnt depower to nothing like a single skin foil...but does relaunch quickly and creates enough pull on loops to create speed when necessary

Elgaupo, I find just the opposite regarding the 4.5 Wave in gusts. My session today was very gusty and I had no problems with the kite. Maybe your gusty wind in different than mine. Today I had lulls to about 15 knots then gusting close to 25. Once it hit the high end I had to point high on the foil and depower the kite. I had no significant surging and drop backs like some of my other kites. Quite calm other than power went up significantly. I do agree about the high end. On the foil approaching 30 knots I would much rather be on a smaller kite.

4m Ozone Uno smallest I've flown at 100kg on an Axis freeride wind (545) it did deform a little when starting.. Need to cut down on the pork pies I guess.
Love my HK Fury Pro 6m but need it in a smaller size too.
