Hey guys,
Im planning to glue a grab foam on rails. So, shall I use a double tape or something else?
Flysurfer provided this for boards long time ago but its not sticking any more after I removed it. Hence, have a foam but not a glue.
Thx

Try Aquasure.
Just make sure glossy, slippery surfaces are buffed, sanded and weight on level surface when overnight curing.
The more I use this stuff the more I like it!

If in Europe, upover, I can provide link to good priced source.

Hmm,
Thx. But here is a catch, the old FS board was not sanded. And I could hold Rad4 by its weight on the same foam.
Removed the foam, old board surface like new.
Which glue tape is it?

aquaseal or 3m5200 work and they also work fine with the bladders so you have extra glue in case you need to restick a valve. You can also use contact cement (can't use contact cement on valves as it melts the polyurethane). Your choices in glues for a grab rail are really wide, basically anything that is waterproof and sticks to wood or plastic works. Double tape won't hold as well, in my opinion, I would just use glue. I'm sure there are dozens of other glues that will work just as well.

Contact cement..
Here in the us the brand is Dap Weldwood. Make sure you get the stinky one with the red trim on the label. The enviromentaly friendly stuff with the green label does not work.
Its also good for gluing on foot pads and loose bar grip.
Follow the instructions on the can.

Any of these should do the job:

Gorilla heavy duty double sided mounting tape will hold it on easily, and also won't damage the surface of your board should you ever wish to remove it.
When you're applying whatever tape you choose, warm the area up with a hair dryer, and warm the tape once its attached to the board, then stick on your rail. It grips waaaay better when applied like this.

Yep at Bunnings there's some heavy duty double sided tape, thick black with red peel off backing...
Leave for 2 days to set well
