Soul 18 20m or 26m lines

Postby Lars Madsen » Mon Oct 21, 2019 10:25 am

I undtil now used 26m Lines on my soul 18m2.
I wunder if it Will be better handling on 20m Lines ?
I use it on tt op to about 20 knots.
Will i jump better higher or Easy?
Got 12 meter on WOO In a power session.
Well it be to hard to Down loop it.
It Well take op less spage when self land = easy’er where you have not so much landing space.( that Will be god in my case)
I just throu aut the cr. Becous there is no Wind and i Think some of you have the answer.
I unly use tt.

I've only flown mine on 24m lines with a North Bar. I find it slow to steer forward when jumping on twin tip having to start the redirect as I am still going up. Having read the thread on here about flagging out on Souls and in particular the input from Armin, I looked at Flysurfer's own bars and note that they offer 17m + 3m extensions on their Infinity bar, 60cm (L) is the one for 18m Soul. This would indicate that shorter is probably recommended. https://flysurfer.com/project/infinity-control-bar/

The optimal line length with powered TT riding is nearer to 20 than to 26. 26m only in supermarginal winds.
A landing down loop is easy with these big kites, timing and bar input like fishpoling the bar is required. Have fun boosting
