Hi
few days ago i wrote:
" just buy the 3m and a friend buy the 2.3m...waiting to find the limit.."
i try the 3m CA wave last Wednesday in the south of France "la Bergerie" near Hyères
nice wind beetwen 35 and 45 kts all day
After 3 hours we don't find the limit of the 2 kites (3m for 87kg and 2.3 for 72kg, both in 20m lines and never touch the trim..)
the 4.5m is fast
the 3m is very, very fast
and the 2.3m....needs a very small bar! and still quite tricky to drive in this gentle wind...
Very good job Benoit.....

4m UNO used for the first time yesterday and very fast even on 27m lines but all good.
Thanks Plummet for the recommendation.

Problem solved!
Firefly 4m and 2.5m
Rode the last 3 days with Ben.
Friday was light, avg 9knots, I rode the 12m Pulsion, great kite ... maybe at some point in my future. Very friendly, easy, fun kite.
Sat, avg 14/15. Foilers were on 11m/12m, TT'ers on 15m/17m. I rode the 6m Firefly, amazing kite, loved it. Instantly adapted to it but probably didn't hurt to get some tips from the man himself and ride side by side, dual 6m Fireflys.
Sun, avg 18/19+, stormy and gusty, heavy rain at one point. Rode the 4m Firefly.
Didn't ride the 2.5m but felt confident enough after riding the 4m and 2.5.

Did you get a chance to ride the Wave as well?
Small single skin kites are super fun but I’ve had limited success relaunching if they get rolled by a wave.

The FF is actually a hybrid. Double skin at leading edge and SS the rest. It relaunches immediately.

I've ridden the Wave in the past, like them a lot but have the FF Fever now.
I put it on. The water a few times, operator error, getting used to the speed and a different bar. Relaunch was pretty quick and will probably get quicker with more use. Wave bounces off the water.
Personally I'd be nervous about either being rolled by a wave but maybe that is me. I need more time with the kite to get comfortable in bigger surf.
