I saw someone with a fireball on their cabrinha setup.
I think i like that but was wondering where the industry is going with the fireball.
Comments?

AFAIK it is patented by Cabrinha so even if it is superior (no clue) we won't see much of it.

Wasn't there a rule which said : if somebody can't spell "Cabrinha" - they should stick to gardening?

The rule also says to wear fkg glasses when you post in the middle of the night.
What I meant to say is, do you folks see many cabrinha fireball bars at your launches.

Never seen one in the wild yet.
Although we have a lot of kites maybe we only have 5% or less cabrinha kites on the water and of those I am not inspecting everyone's bar up close.
If I wanted something similar to the fireball (better range of motion, no risk of getting lines hooked) I would personally probably get the Mystic stealth surf bar.
If you use the smaller freeride loop on that one it is probably pretty close to the Cabrinha fireball system in ride feel without needing to go to some proprietary system that only works with a single harness/bar combination.

In the wild....thats a great way to put it...i have only seen one group of folks, in the wild, with a fireball setup.
I think a rope bar may have the same effect.
The other more important reason i think i am going to put the fireball to rest, is if i wanted to switch gear with someone, it would be a non starter.
Anyway, thanks for the responses, it really does help.

I have used Fireball since launch and it is a far better connection system in my opinion than chicken loops but alas I do not see many people using this on the beaches I kite at. Once you try you can feel the difference.

I’m Fireball user, 3 years already. The best is zero stomach pression while riding. Jumping is also more comfortable. The Kite feels more connected and easier for rotations, hooked in freestyle.
My only concern is about how long does it will last? I’m worried to get some accident, like it suddenly breaks or something. Anyone heard about it ?

If that's your main concern, just get a new lower part for 20 bucks and focus your worries on other parts of the control system that may suddenly break

You can use it without the lower piece, just attach to a rope slider spreader bar with a ring.
