lol i remember years ago making up a set of 9m lines and going kiting on a twintip in 30+, it was a non stop bombardment of "what are you doing" "that is never going to work" on the beach- i was like... "move along please"
I tested 15m and 12m lines back-to-back on 4m peak4. Big difference between the two, much prefer the 15m length.
Had to work hard to get up on the board with the 12m lines, but plenty of power when up and riding. Much easier to get up on the 15m lines and same power when riding.
Small kitefoilboard, so possibly not relevant to this thread. If the intention is to use a sup...
HI my name is gurval. Thanks ronnie for posting the adress of my website.
I work since years on ultra short lines, i rode with a Hydra Genetrix with 2m lines and now Naish Ride 10m with 2m lines too.
And i customised an single skin kite
Actually i'm working on hybrid wings and a new concept witch is something between kite and wing.
very interesting and innovative. Did you try the single Skin Version with sup-foil? That's what would interest me the most. Maybe it is easier to navigate than a 12m tube kite?
It is an advanced verison of the parawing bar, which just works with extremly short or better no lines. The kite turns always to the position of the bar and stays there static. Pulling left or right side of the bar is power/depower.
@kitenight11:
Nice work, I have also seen your monofoil, would be interesting if you write something about it into the other topic, for example if it is stable enough for sit foiling, etc., Thank You.

Yes it's the same system than paraskiflex bar. http://www.paraskiflex.com/
The advantage of keystone bar is to control independently the 4 lines, i can turn the kite without action on the back lines witch is good for light wind and power. It's an adaptation of "la cage" for paragliders, a concept developed by Jean-Louis DARLET in 1990. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cage_de_pilotage
