Hey

Had just use for waves so far. I hope to get out and foil this week or next. But starting to be cold up here. ;)

But for waves is working like i hope. A lot off drift and nice to handle. And the bar is amazing.

Ok, no real review on the Bar yet on this page, plenty on the German forum so I will make a start:
I have the bar but not the kites, had just upgraded my quiver so didnt want to change kites again. Thus, flying he Pintxo Bar with both Duotone Mono and Ozone Alpha.
The bar is superlight (noticeable already when you unpack it), it connects easily to the kite (you might need some loop/ knot adapters if the kite does not fit the setup of the bar).
In the air, the feeling is great. Very direct impulse, the tubing slides easily through the hole in the bar even when cranking the bar during a loop.
When you fist ride the bar, you realise how much difference it can make to have a light bar compared to the "usual" heavy serial bars.
Trimming the kite is easy with the knot system through the back lines, it was a bit harder in the beginning but I guess that now after some hours of usage the knots are set and slide better into place.
One thing to get used to is the huge depower way of the bar and the related distance the bar travels when you "unspin" it after a loop. Its really far away from you! I adapted my "unspin" technique and dont let the bar go completely during the spin (or only very briefly, difficult to explain..).
The bar is carbon but handles really nicely, no sliding through the hands.
Overall, it compares using a great, fine tool to do a task in comparison to a very unadapted, raw one (normal bar).
So a big thumbs up for this product!! (and the price is unbeatable)

NB: The bar has a low V so I am using a line separator for the Duotone kites (who usually have a high V/Y). It makes them fly a little better (although it works fine even with the low V).

Thanks for that. Some interesting translations from google!
Just did a recent 2.5 hour float with a foil kite for a sea anchor.
Time for a change back to bladder kites for me after 4 years on foil kites.
The Kaupers sound very interesting, so will take a chance on them.
A waiting list for them I hear. Will let you all know how it goes.

Tried the bar and it is an excellent product, at least for foiling.
I use Clouds E with very light bar pressure.
It is a great combo.
Only downside is depowering the kite. You can't get the knots through the bar if there is not suffisiant tension on the backlines. Quite annoying but OK with the Cloud as you don't really need to trim the kite.
For the rest it is well build, very light and very clean.
It was worth waiting (long!)
