The famous woo meter
The more coins you feed into the slot the higher it reads.
haters will always hate..
if you feel that you can do better than this guy, why not post a picture or a woo score to prove it...

Why would it be a surprise that terms like "woo jump record" and "world woo record" are going to rub people up the wrong way.
A woo is no doubt a fun toy, but it is a toy that doesnt actually tell you how high you went off the water - it makes an estimation based on various factors that don't involve measuring any actual height at all.
I have cross checked photo timestamps to the data off these - in the ballpark sometimes - sometimes - a mind of their own.
its the best thing there is tho currently short of a photographer and height reference.. mind you lenses distort too...
a wide beam laser?

It was definitely a Core and 7m and I think it was an XR6.

He rides Core kites in all of his videos.
As an aside its an entertaining set of videos he has on youtube. They are all about drumming up business for his kite coaching business but still worth a watch if you have some free time.

I suspect those readings to be totally bogus.
I had myself a 23+ meter jump while it was definitely below 18...
Wouldnt trust any of those "world record" claims without a picture.

The higher the jump and longer the airtimes the greater the error in result due to drift in the sensors. So all these bug jumps are big jumps but with the error, no real way to know what really happened.
My engineering buddy says that there’s also a bug in Woo that when you land hard, you get a higher jump number. Or you get a rogue jump immediately on landing that you see in the jump logs.
Sounded like a wild day at the beach nonetheless!
