Considering adding a 9m Naish Dash to my Naish Torch's (7m,9m,10m,11m & 14m). Looking for a kite with a bit more hang time and height on those 25 to 40mph days. I found a good deal on a brand new 2017 one, however the reviews said it was a kite that needed loads of wind to come alive and lacked low end power.
How is the bar thow ? I rode a Pivot and hated having that super long bar throw and that constant in/out of the bar (compared to constant power on the torch), looking for a kite with a standard bar throw (30ish cm).
Any feed back on the Dash 9m or 11m ? Which year do you consider the better one ?

I can't say too much. I had the dash 10, but it was a bit too fast for me. The bar throw is adjustable. The dash will fall closer to the torch if you put the set stopper down. You dont have to tho.

Nothing like the Pivot. Coming from a TORCH you will adjust quickly to the Dash

Agreed. The DNA of the Dash is the torch, so that makes a lot of sense.

How is the low end on the 2017 ? The review in Kiteworld said it lacked a low end and was a super high wind kite really.

only 2017 or 2019, the Dash of 2018 probably wasn't very good

A brand new 11m dash (2017) is on it's way...
looking forward to trying it.
