Wasn't duotone going to change out from those crappy lines to better ones like 2 years ago? Does there 2020 gear still have those junk lines?

From the Kota all the video seems to be too far away but Lasse Walker in 50 knots in the Red Bull mega loop challengelongwhitecloud wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 2:56 amNone of them are pics of kota, and like said.. part of the contract for sure. Kota though.. high winds, huge risk for very small reward$.. no one is going ride kota forced to use a click bar if they don't want to as part of their contract.. common sense.
I’m guessing all team rider gear is pretty much brand spanking new.Matteo V wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 1:15 amAnd kind of required to as part of being a team rider?
Plus, part of their sponsorship is pimping/testing the sponsors gear?
Not to mention all of their gear is pretty much brand spanking new!
So definitely not a good example of the average or high level consumer out there.
Yes, team riders do seem to use the click bar in extreme conditions.Does anyone use a click bar in Kota?.. in super high winds.. even team riders?
Yes, I agree, the lines don’t last very long. Definitely the low point for the duotone bars..
That is nuts, why would u do that...absolutely insane to trust the extra mechanisms of a click bar in 50 knots. Look at poor old Ruben Lenten.. if things can go wrong.. they will go wrong however 'unlucky' it was.purdyd wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 5:28 amFrom the Kota all the video seems to be too far away but Lasse Walker in 50 knots in the Red Bull mega loop challengelongwhitecloud wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 2:56 amNone of them are pics of kota, and like said.. part of the contract for sure. Where are the examples of the Click bars failing?longwhitecloud wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 1:25 pmNot really, your electric windows are independent from your car steering wheel and won't cause steering problems if it fails in any way. The mechanism in the click bar could.
Anyone can buy and ride what they want, I think click bars are bad engineering.

It was pretty obvious that riders were going to get knocked out wearing boots in kota too catching edges rapidly decelerating their brain, but didnt stop some of them.. even the ones that drowned.
Just not a wise idea, I wouldnt encourage their use whatsoever. I don't think lasse walker should use them, especially in super high winds with high forces involved.
I doubt other duotone riders will use them in kota, I really hope they are free to choose.. otherwise that would be insane. The risks are so high with such bull$hit rewards.
I don’t think you understand that the mega loop challenge is a step up in extreme from the Kota.longwhitecloud wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 7:10 am
