Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

Postby POACHER » Wed Jan 01, 2020 5:33 am

Just got an email from Naish saying he's leaving to pursue other life interests and goals.

Best of luck KL.
Bad move for Naish...

I bet he joins North.

North +1

Interesting timing with KOTA coming up. No one’s seen him on other kites so far.....how would he have practiced?.....would need access to new kit via a trusted friend or family member to get the hours in....will make quite a line up if he does end up with North.

He just released a video. My speculation is he wanted too much money and there is only north or duotone who would pay so he left. Would hate to see him go to either but prefer duotone. I mean there must've been something since they just released his pro model board. How stupid of Naish to let him go since there is no way Kevin left just to do something new, right?

World champs base rate is like a k a week... About the same as minimum wage in most developed western nations.

Theyre buying cars not houses

This isnt including all theyre extra payments from comps etc etc but its always funny when people think theyre making like millions

Theres no need for him in duotone so possible new north throwing some bucks/jesse influence

My guess is its neither.

Dont know if any of you have done something for 20 years but they say it takes 7 years to master anything hes basicly done the hattrick 3 sabatacles

I wouldnt even want to own my own brand.

If its kiting id probably do something light and easy if at all kiting and focus on outside kiting shit just save face to keep the little kiting cashcow running

The social media he ramped up in last year or so would have been a business tactic to use as evidence in his new venture.

Either way dont really care why anyone does i dont know , your just victims of marketing

Probably a social media company was it him that did the ted talk or was it stormjees? I can never tell the 2 apart

Good luck to him, I just hope he keeps posting his videos. His enthusiasm is infectious.

Interesting.
I doubt it’s Duotone, they have similar riders...like Aaron Hadlow.

But just thinking, who is the more valuable rider of these two these days? Aaron didn’t win a comp in a while and barely has videos...Kevin keeps putting out more to social media...
