I have cheap Decathlon 2mm gloves, anold pair and new pair, the old have become thinner, but still grab them as long as possible as you nearly do not feel them.
these thin "ball handling gloves" from decathlon have a sticky soft silicone stranding all over the palms and fingers, so fantastic grip,
very thin, super stretchy so the kids sizes fit the best (no tax on the kids sizes)
and silly cheap, the kids ones are under £4 a pair,
Can't find anything at decathlon matching your description - could you post a link?

they are Kept in various locations throughout the Decathlon stores,
I head straight to the isle which has the footballs and the smaller kids size balls the gloves are there, and 2 or three other locations, very popular. I will have a look on the site.
here they are
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/keepdry-500 ... 24076.html
they do them in all black, and all grey as well,
loads of sizes, but mostly too big as they are so stretchy, you need to try them on for the closest fit, baggy is bad. :thumb:

Thanks - I didn't find them because was looking for 2mm neoprene gloves. These are polyester, so I am surprised that they work - but at that price it is worth a try for sure.

[EDIT after buying some]

Tried them in around 8-9C. They do work but not really suitable for under 10C air temp in my opinion. They are just polyester fleece material so they take on a lot of water. You have to make a fist to squeeze the water out every time you water start.

In summary: an OK cool weather glove. No question about value for money.

The hunting reflex is great. you just rig with bare hands, and go stick em in the lake for a good minute so they get real cold, then go get your wetsuit on and let them warm back up to beet red, then ride and they will be warm for hours.
This is true, but hurts like f*ck until hands re-heat!

Neil Pryde psycho,
3 mm liquid seam gloves,
waterproof and never flush through down the cuffs due to a soft O ring sort of seal.
very stretchy, tight fit is best to maintain dexterity in the fingers.
I buy size small which fit more easily when used a few times, size medium slide on easily but you loose the ability to fix larks head knots etc,
this is a major drawback in most of the winter gloves i have used in the past.
Did you mean O Neil Psycho? Don't see Psycho on NP site here:
https://www.neilpryde.com/collections/neo-gloves
Did you mean these:
https://www.surfdome.com/ONeill-Psycho- ... 092121.htm
Thanks!
Also what water temperature we are talking about - would they work for 4C = 40 F water?
Also - do they give you crsmps at all? Say after 3hrs session?

Thanks, I do hear ftom various people these are very good and give you no cramps etc.
i can't find original NP 5mm 3 finger mitts anywhere. They changed the model to Armorskin in 2018 or 19. Anyone can confirm the Armourskin 3 finger 5mm mitts are as good as originals?
Also - some people say originals where tight fit so one would buy them a size bigger?
Are the Armorskin model the same too tight fit or do you buy them in your usual size?
Here is the link to new Armourskin model - they look different:

Thanks, what water temperature 3mm are good for? My hands are cold sensitive, bum!
I actually bought Flashbomb 3 finger 5mm
Claws
https://www.surfdome.com/Rip-Curl-Flash ... 069236.htm
But tried them on and not sure if they might give me cramps. They do not feel pre-curved enough. I do like the intetnal membrane with elatic ring which will probably stop water ingress well, but thinking about returning them. Anyone can comment on them, especially cramping-wise?

I've had ION claw gloves but they were really not warm and got cramps anyway, don't buy too small it will give cramps too.
With these Flashbomb gloves i just got sweaty hands in it because of the plush inside, amazing gloves best i've had and highly recommend it..maybe just try the one's you bought i am sure they are warm :thumb:
