Can any industry insiders give an approximate estimate of how much top riders like Aaron Hadow and Kevin Langeree get paid?

I don't know the answer in this industry, UKSurf. But sponsored "celebrities" get lots of perks that add up to significant compensation. So, in addition to a salary or living stipend, you'd need to add the value of free equipment, reimbursed travel expenses, etc. If anyone has a figure to offer, I suspect it's nothing more than a guesstimate that varies widely across pro riders.

I believe there are serius world champions that dont make even a fraction of this... that travel just in economic and on people should just not buy from brands who dont give back to the athletes who give it all to them

How would you know what brands to support without them publishing salary information? If they did publish salary information, would average riders be more likely or less likely to spend on the kites?

20k is not alot of money for putting your health at risk. I guess if you add travel and gear on top of that it could be something like 60k.
