Can anyone come up with some suggestions for a light wind freestyle board that can be used with boots?
Flat and long
For normal conditions I have been using the SS Asylum 138. My weight is 72 kg.
Thanks

With your weight i'd say 143 Misfit, uses same inserts as vision/asylum.

Why is boots and flat board not a good idea?
Straps or boots a flat, longer and wider board would help me going out in lighter wind.

Imho it's a good alternative in super light wind when you won't get planing on a rockered board.
147 Refraction still has tons of rocker (54mm) and rounded rails, you won't have fun in light conditions.
Obviously landings will be abit harder due to flatness, but as a pure "lightwind training board" it's alright.
There's also a thread on a german forum about slingshot twintips & the guy has been riding misfit with boots for ages.

not only the landings, the load and pop will differs very much
if you are an experienced rider you can ride and do tricks , in boots, with every board, but the feeling... i know some shit about passes, wakestyle etc. and for my taste and vision of progression freestyle in boots is much better to have a big rocker board - speed up downwind > make a trick > then walk by legs upwind than beating yourself with a large freeride board. IMO
