McMillan is ON tomorrow. I’m leaving Ridgway between 8-9. Come get some.

Mickey: you’re making it look dreamy there man!

Anthony, I'll need to check my calendar at the office on Monday, but I think your Grand Mesa Lodge plan for March 12, 13 and 14 looks good for me. You can put me down tentatively for now. Thanks for organizing it.

Looks promising tomorrow at some of the places within my driving distance. I'll check the forecast in the morning and decide whether to go to the Grand Mesa, Dillon or Hartsel.
It's your spot in Hartsel a private spot?

Lots of open state and federal land south of Hartsel. Just drive south of Hartsel until you see open land with good snow coverage. Pretty wide open in that area. I went to Dillon today and it wasn't very good. Very gusty light wind most of the afternoon, so I rigged big. Then it kicked in late, 20s gusting into the 30s. Didn't have the right kite for that. Only a few inches of snow on top of the ice, so it's still pretty hard for landings after jumps or sit downs during the lulls. Probably going to Grand Mesa tomorrow.

So awesome to everyone scoring the goods! I wish I coulda been up there with the Snow Mesa posse, but I too had a great time Sunday on Lizard Head with Mickey and some Wisconsin boys hashtaggin across America in their van. I had a blast towing my kids behind me in their tube sled for miles and miles of knee deep pow. Anyone up for another outing this weekend?

Matt we missed you on Jarose but glad you guys had good wind and fun. Saturday looks sunny and windy for Snow Mesa. I'm always up for that. Close to Gunnison, Taylor has filled in pretty well and the east end of Blue Mesa is frozen and has some snow on it. The conditions on Snow or Jarose Mesa are well worth the drive as far as I'm concerned.

Scott, I realize that I have Mountain Rescue training Saturday morning in Ouray, so I'll be up on Big Mac Saturday afternoon if anyone can make it up. Any plans for Sunday??
