Are these apples to apples or apples to oranges comparison? If figures are taken from manufactor web site or did you weight them yourself in similar configuration?
All weights are kite only including bridles and pulleys. Weights are not published on most manufacturers websites. These weights are taken from individuals weighing their own kites (not all using same scale).
This is grossly incorrect, real value is something like 160m. I added up B line row which is a bit under 20m per side, so whole kite is about 8x of that.
It is more accurate too, they are part of the kite. The lines are too and to some degree the bar. The lines are technically part of the bridle.joriws wrote: I think FS announces weight with bridles and mixer because it is more convenient for them.
