Wow. That is a super strong team.

Good for them. I think Kevin can sell a few kites on his name brand, but at the end of the day their day to day business skills and quality of product will be the determining factor of success.

They already have a website.
And why ReedIn ? Maybe because LangerREE and GirarDIN --> ReeDin
Just a guess

Edit : If they remove the pulleys, I'll have a look on these kites !

such a good and experienced rider together with a succesfull designer, why not make really good designs, quality also is not that hard to achive today, most brands are using the same materials,
especially for Kevin,no big money in the industry as team rider any more,so they take their risk, good decision.

I'm pretty sure that's the origin of the name.
It would be a huge coincidence if it wasn't that.

Good luck!

For sure will not be easy...we have now 60+ kite brands out there.

Netherlands can be a big market for him...but worldwide?
Not easy.

And what happens if he won’t win KOTA this time?
Things might go the other way then.
Totally agree I think starting his own brand would be a big mistake. The market is massively over populated and I would imagine alot of brands are making a Loss. I think he will probably end up going to North

Reedin sounds too much like "reading". On top of that, it's a brandname that can be written in different ways after hearing it #Marketing101

Langeree is already a strong brand, it stands for winning, fun, happiness, professionalism, technique, etc. But Reedin? Maybe Kevin has a certain opinion on using personal names for a brand due to his experience at Naish. Or maybe he's too humble.

Nevertheless I wish Reedin all the best, I'm a huge fan of Kevin!

Lesson number 1: don't buy version 1 of any product. Let the fan boys do that 😂
