F-one Bullit

Postby Barryg101 » Thu Jan 16, 2020 1:02 pm

Just saw the release of the Bullit from Fone which is aimed specifically for megaloops, how much different can it be from the bandit?

The Bullit will be Liams weapon of choice for KOTA.

Very curious to see what reaction comes from this kite, it could be yet another "game changer"

Liam must've liked the dice quite a lot during the megaloop challenge. Looks like the f-one dice  :thumb:

Edit: alright ... on a 2nd look it doesn't really look like the dice.

Weird... they already positioned the Bandit 2020 more for big air right? Or is it: Bullit = Bandit 2021

From their website - Bandit 2020: The legendary kite is back once again, and this year the smaller sizes have a focus on big air and kite loops.
Also shape is really close. And both 100% big air en 100% hangtime ??

Business-wise I find it a strange choice...

Also weird: it’s supposedly dedicated to strong winds and the smallest size is an 8. This year from F-one seems quite muddled - confusing double version of the Bandit and then this kite which seems pretty much the same anyway, and doesn’t really look that much different in shape either.

But you can use a good 8m up to 45 knots and more

F-one have really confused their line up, or me at least. Was so simple when the Bandit just did it all. Now the Bullit seems to stamp all over the 2020's toes. In the end, this year I decided to buy Pivots as couldn't decide which Bandit to go for and couldn't test.

If like me you weigh 65kg including wetsuit then 8m is a bit big for your smallest kite.
Pretty glad I have 2019 Bandits - no confusion!

Same for me, was surprised when the Bullit was announced but from what I heard F-One marketing wants riders to be able to identify themselves in the product hence specific kites for a specific rider.
Wouldn't be surprised if next year there is just one Bandit again the Bandit S.
