Strange lightly scary thing about boosting my foil is my back foot can be pulled free from the rear strap just as I take off, not too regularly, but it happens maybe once a session, I am sure someone thought I was doing a semi board off yesterday, when in fact I was in panic mode flying with just my front foot secure, I have only failed once to slot my rear foot back in during the flight, and decided to come down flat on my back, which hurt but worked,
it's something about the extra weight of the whole rig which of course is much more of a dead weight than a tiny Ttip
And it's something about having a much looser back strap,
I get it pretty often too, especially during winter while in 7mm booties.
I usually just kick off the board when this happens..

My perspective on the question is that I did some boosting on my 633 but I only really rode it in very light wind...and it always felt like landing on a cafeteria tray. I normally only boost using a speed setup but recently added a 679 which is a tad more sporty than the 633 but is still a big wing...and have started riding and boosting it in heavier conditions. I can't say I feel wildly more forces on it on landing than the 645 Havok wing and am not worried about the mast, which already has 11,448
boosts on it. Ride em like you stole em....Moses has pretty good warranty coverage.

I can't say I have ever come down on the wing "flat slap hard"
If I get my landing wrong it's normally because of-
Pitching in nose first with speed, so flipping annoying as I simply can't save it, and I know that it's wrong before I even hit the water,
Leaning back too far away from upright over the mast, and sitting down in the water feeling stupid.
Letting the pendelum swing effect bring me to a stop just before I enter the water surface, (very soft landing) but have now learned to aggressively dive the kite and point downwind before the board touches down, it's wrong, but kind of feels like a trick, feels good.
The only strain on my equipment is my stomach muscles being over worked as I just can't stop boosting,

I don't use big tray wings so no comments on fuse-to-mast connection stress at landing.
Both setups that I lost to the sea were giving up at mast to board connector:
1) nobile zen/split broke inserts in the board and sank
2) SS GW/Hypermiler - broke rails on the board and sank
Both happened when foil dropped from 7-10 meters hitting water, presumably at some unfavorable angle...
It's worth mentioning that zen broke super fast while Ghost Whisper lasted though thousands jumps...

You must be boosting high!
I Guess free fall from 10M could damage any wing.

I found a small crack in the bottom of my Moses mast, have no idea if this is just the outer part of the glaze of plastic or if this crack goes through the front part of mast, looks good on the other side.
Anyone seen anything like that with your mast.
It feels strong still. I dont want to start sanding to see if its deep, i would probably loose its strength.
Im not jumping and i use small wings 590/558.

Have you scaled them down in pixel size?
If straight out of a camera or phone, they are way too big, and it wont work...
Try downsizing and it will work
