Naish and F-one I doubt as long as the owners/founders live. They should be financial stable.

Interesting time to buy a kite brand.
I have never had so many 'flyer' emails from retailers here in UK trying to shift stock, with discounts on discounts.
Either the market's flooded with stock or no one is buying (or both).

I recall that NP was owned by Flow sports, a sports brand conglomerate. Therefore cabrinha was under that flag. I can totally understand that organisation limited agility and connection to the core users.

It's cycle time

Hobie cats, windsurfing, kitesurfing,sup, wingfoiling.

Look at some of your friends on insta.. they on wings... should I shouldn't I? Remember what they said about kiting at the start.. I was wrong then.. maybe I am this time... :-0

Ah well olympic kitesurf racing will inspire a new generation! Lol.. I have seen people out racing all over the place ...errr.. never.

I thought it was a southern hemisphere thing, the kitesurfing " turndown", maybe not. I find myself riding kite empty beaches far more than 10 years ago.

I have always thought Cabrinha and Flysurfer would have made a good merger. The industry is far too small to have all these independent entities.

The sale is official.

but but but
While the ownership of the Cabrinha brand and Adventure Sports Inc has
changed, the strategic partnership with the Pryde Group remains.
As a core part of the agreement, Performance Manufacturing China will
continue as the exclusive manufacturer of kite products for Cabrinha, offering
the same high levels of technical support and dedicated production strength that
enabled Cabrinha repeatedly to bring innovative and high quality products to
consumers worldwide.
Pryde Group, through its European distribution company Pryde Group GmbH
remains as Cabrinha’s exclusive distribution partner for most of the important
markets in Europe, while in Asia, distribution to many countries through Pryde
Group Asia will continue out of Hong Kong.
So business as usual. Sounds like they are cashing out of a stale brand for something new while maintaining whatever is profitable from it. Poor Pete.

"Cabrinha repeatedly to bring innovative and high-quality products to consumers worldwide."

Firstly I'm a Cabrinha Fan-Boy, but Cab' has had its fair share of issues over the years and some not so game-changing products.
Fireball, ugly foot long spring on the bar, 6 line Chaos, (IDS humm iffy), material that creases up white, lines recall, valves peeling, flagging line jamming in PU tube, plus others I'm sure.

The number of items in the product ranges seems ludicrous, the frequency of change - for 'new tech', that amounts to a different colour in reality.

Can these companies make money? Why would NP sell it if was good now and looked to be in the future.
