These are interesting.
I liked this idea well enough to try. I think Ketos has M6.

With that setup I would stub my toe or get a line caught under it. Personally, I would just use a hex machine screw that is flush with the board and carry a hex key.

Connection is robust. In the end I do not like it. It’s in the way and uncomfortable to step on.
I do like the tool-less assembly and think with development could be worthwhile. Possibly with a lower profile lever recessed into a deck pad.

Why wouldnt you just use a system like Naish's Abracradabra system?

that would be a great system if they didn't used a tiny tapped screw hole into the aluminum base only two threads deep.
Now it's too easy to damage the soft threads for the final locking screw, good luck fixing your foil to the board in a decent way without that screw....

Although it does slide in, from front to back, backing it in. I think the only way you could knock it out and damage the threads is if you were foiling in reverse???
Maybe you could drop it in the parking lot and screw it up.

Nice concept but is it worth it for losing 3 screws? You add the problem that that sliding joint can get stuff in it or wear and then things don't fit well. You end up with play or difficultly assembling.
