Who makes the best Wing Thing

Postby Kitemanmuc » Mon Feb 24, 2020 5:47 am

Is there a general consensus yet on who makes the best kite wing? I hear FOne good. Any feedback?

I also heard F-one swing and Ozone wasp are the preferred wings.

Interestingly Naish have recently released a new version of their "Wing Surfer". I'm told that original Naish 4m wing wasnt very powerful for it's size. The new Naish wing comes it multiple sizes and has transparent window sections in the sail.

I expect most brands will be refining their wings or releasing new versions in the next 12 months.

I would be very interested to find out more about people who have experience on the Gong wings. Gong now have 3 different models of wing, each with different sizes.

Asking what is better this or that is also very informative. What is the best kite? Board? Bar? As always each poster will answer with his preferences (whether they own a wing or not) and you get a list of 10 different brands.

Asking a comparison between two specific models is more legit and especially more productive.

You are speaking as though there are 40 kite wings on the market. There are not. It’s like 4. This is basically year one of the kite wing and it’s not a refined product yet. And as you can see from the comments above. FOne is the general consensus.

If a question has not been answered yet, everyone is welcome to ask.

That’s the reason for a forum 😉
