Hey guys,
If I want to get the rubber ends off an old Cab bar, how would I do that?
The bar has a pull away "mushroom" release, with a pin, and a spring on depower line. Dunno how old tho.

How old? 2012+? By ends do you mean the left/right foam pieces? You can't get those off unless you cut them off.
If you're trying to replace the leader lines, there's a hole on the bottom of the foam pieces on each side below where the leaders exit. You can expand it a little and shine a light into it to see the leader line. You should be able to pull it out but I can't confirm 100% as I didn't get around to it.

I can cut off the foam ends but would still not be able to take them off, right?

I don't think you'll be able to move them to another bar easily. I guess you could cut the foam pieces off with a razor and glue them back together around another bar. Getting them off the original bar without tearing probalby wont be easy. Perhaps if you heat them up without melting they would release the rubber cement underneath? No idea, I've never cut them off or had them come off on any Cab bars. I have no idea what's underneath.

Would have to have a pic of the bar. I'm not familiar with the cab bars. I have pulled apart my SS bar and I had to cut the rubber off that covered the rivet so I could drill it out. I'm sure it would be similar to that unless the bar is a single piece with the bar end. I doubt that because it would be holy shit expensive to mold the bar with ends.

I believe they are two parts glued together. Should be a seam visible on the ends...
