The kite won't fly any different on a different size bar. It will just make it easier to turn. It's personal preference. I use my trust bar on the small setting on my 15m because I want to slow down the turning speed. Up to you.

Just make sure you use the 22m lines on the kites :). Probably get away with 24m on the 11m, but swapping back and forth is annoying.

I have a lot of experience with the Neos and both click bars.
The neos, specially the 11m, will feel nicer on the longer bar.
So in your case, take the long click bar 100%

What’s your advice on the bar size with the 2020 evo?

For the 2020 Evo I use the small click bar up to 9m and switch to the longer bar as from 10m.
If you want one bar for your whole quiver and your quiver includes 10m and over, then choose the long bar.

There's no one simple answer, it depends on you and what the conditions are. Shorter lines will make the kite feel faster in turning and more responsive, but some people may not like that. Longer lines will give you a more powerful dive for starting in light winds, but will be harder for multiple up and down dives in light wind. Longer lines are good for small kites when learning to foil as that slows them down, but advanced foilers will like the faster turning speed of shorter lines. Same with bar lengths........longer bars gives you more line pull per degree of change, shorter bars gives you less. It's up to you to figure out what works best for you..........and after you do........ be prepared for your likes and dislikes to change !

Also, it is generally easier to slow the kite when using a longer bar (by moving hands to center or pulling more gently) than it is to speed up a kite with a shorter bar.

Thanks for your advice!

So I had 2018 evo's 9,8,7,6 and at the time there was only the long click bar

I went to 2020 evo 8,7,6,5 and haven't tried the short bar.

I guess I am now used to the long bar and maybe the 5m when powered up is the one I might use a short bar with. But I would love to try a shorter bar, if it wasn't so expensive :D

Conversely, the 8m and 6m Neo that I had in 2018, I thought might have been better on a shorter bar as the 8m especially seemed a bit heavy on the bar turning.

Thank you all for your answers. I am absolutely confused since my one kite is Evo 11 and now I am gonna buy a Neo 8 or Evo 9 :-? . Possible to get the longer clickbar (22-24m lines)

I'd listen to Jerome, he invented the click bar.

Get the longer bar.

Thank you very much for your help. I ended up to get the longer bar. Now I am only waiting to test it out . :)
